I went in with my grandson to ask if we had all the information that was needed to take his test He had an appointment in Great Falls the following week. They were kind enough to work him in to take both his tests. Great service and they were very pleasant to work with. Thank you for making our day !!
Always handled my appointments promptly. If you need to get in on short notice, go in mid afternoon when they usually aren't busy. They almost always work walk ins in when they aren't slammed.
Driver Schedule Appointment has not worked in months. It will not accept my Learners Permit Number. Called and the phone rang for an hour every time I have called. Never once picked up their phone. I go out there personally to schedule there are ten people waiting, one worker. She tells me "Her" Scheduler is broken to call up there. I told her I been calling and no one ever answers the phone. You'll have to come back up here. When? I'm going back up there and wait with my 70-year-old neighbor and just wait. The appointment schedule has been broken for months and they won't answer the phone. Please fix this.

I am living in Florida now, went to get my license here and there was a hang up about my record not being in the database. Long problem short, a lady in Helena Montana , home state for me, was able and willing to help me out by taking her time to help. She made sure that she faxed statement saying I indeed had a Montana license and my whole issue was fine. Very easy to work with...JUST BE NICE TO THEM!
Very typical government office experience. Waited for almost 30 minutes after the front desk gave me a number. Only to find when my number was called that they were on a lunch hour and were short staffed and that I would have to make an appointment for what I wanted to do. Going back for a 3rd time today to simply convert my valid license.
