Hawthorne are great-the principal is another story. She is extremely quick to anger and can often resort to name calling and other unprofessional behavior when confronted or disagreed with. We had so much trouble with her that we ultimately removed our child from the district all together. I would not recommend this school unless you are prepared to never question/disagree with anything that goes on there-if you do they will make your time there a nightmare and do what they've done to us and refuse to allow us any alternative.
