Awesome and authentic! Do not expect to eat there but it is so worth going!
For Montana, this is an exceptional restaurant, definitely among the top few Mexican joints in the state. Delicious and mostly authentic food, huge portions, low prices, and very friendly owners. Get a side of the "potion" (super hot). Thanks Adam and Erika!
Best food in Helena. The owners are super kind and will make anything to order. There can be long lines, but it is always worth the wait. Everything is delicious...our favorites are the macho nachos, the burritos and the quesadillas...oh and the street tacos! Can't go wrong with anything off of the menu. Delicious salsas as well.
I usually base my Mexican restaurants on how good the salsa is, and I have to say this was the worst salsa I have ever had. It was basically a can of tomatoes and hot sauce. My fish taco was okay, the food just seemed bland and dry. But I do have to say our waitress was kind and the establishment was very clean and nice.
We absolutely love this place. It's family owned, so the hours are a little wacky. However, the food is fantastic. Best Hispanic food in Helena by far. Exceptional flavor, and wonderful service. The only downside is that the only table seating is outside.
