Don’t let the looks of this place fool you. This is hands down the best place in Helena to get Mexican food. This is a family run place and yes it’s next door to a casino, that means full bar with your food. Free chips and salsa when you are seated and these seem to be bottomless. My family’s go to place when we can’t decide “what’s for dinner”.
The food was delicious and the service was decent. We were there for my 21 year old son's birthday. He and his friend have autism and it did not appear that our server bothered to notice that she needed to speak a bit slower to them even after it was obvious they were having difficulty understanding her.
I recently thought I would try another Mexican Restraunt besides this one and I sure do regret it. You guys are the best in town and I promise not to stray again. =) PS, you have the best salsa
I was disappointed that they didn't give my son a small dessert or something like most restaurants do when a person is celebrating their birthday.
Our food smelled like bleach and had an odd ofter taste. Poor service. Bone in chicken nachos that completely ruined the meal (large bone) I actually expect I'll be sick in a few hours.
Can not say enough good things about this awesome authentic Mexican restaurant! Family owned and ran. Did decline a few years back but after major overhaul food us back to being wonderful. Never had a bad meal and if you want a delicious experience go here! Free chips and homeade salsa. Extremely affordable and you are guaranteed to leave full and happy.
