We frequent Subway and it's always pretty good, but today's visit was exceptional. Lauren and Justin hit it out of the park with their fantastic customer service. Anybody can make a sandwich, but not many do it with a smile on their face. They were patient with my 4 year old and and were freindly about our requests.
This could have beenough easily avoided if they had an extra staff member working the counter instead of 1 or, sporadically, 2.
Blazing fast service. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff
I've worked in food service before so I can understand absentmindedness in a rush but this was a bit much.
The subs here is really good.
Usually I have great experiences at Subways but today was a disappointment. There were maybe 3 or 4 people in front of me and the wait was 15 minutes before getting to the the counter to order. When my sandwich got into the oven it was abandoned, and people behind me continued to be served. By the time someone realized I was standing there waiting while people passed me at the vegetable portion of the counter my sandwich was burned past being edible. It was thrown away at once, no apologies, no offers to correct it.
We waited for 45 minutes even though the person was not very busy. Meanwhile, the entire crew was having a staff meeting with their new manager. I listening to him cussing and attempting to impress him staff for half an hour trying to be the 'cool' new boss. My husband and I thought that it was a dungeons and dragons gathering or some sort of narcotics anonymous group for the first 15 minutes due to the lack of professionalism before realizing that they were seriously having an employee meeting in the middle of the store lobby during hours of operation. The food was okay, nothing to complain about there. However; I won't be returning to this location chiefly because of one Fedora wearing manager who has no idea how to behave in front of his customers and staff.
