I usually stick with my usual "If you can't say anything nice ... don't say anything at all". Now we live in the squeaky wheel era and if you don't say anything, nothing will get fixed. This wasn't a late booking and I asked for a room with two beds. When I got there, the only rooms that they had left were for smokers. Okay! Not a big deal. I'm used to rooms that have burnt spots in the carpet and that lite smell about the room. I just want to rest and take a shower in the morning. The place was noisy. People coming and going all hours of the night and morning. The air conditioner/heat pump that was above the door. Nope, never worked. It made fan noises but it didn't cool the room. It actually make the room hotter. So the three nights that we stayed there, we relied on the window being open. Now we were in the smoking section of the motel ... and someone standing in front of your window at 4:15 am and 7:00 am smoking really sucks and talking! My son liked the shower and I liked the refrigerator because it was really cold. The staff was very nice even when housekeeping came in on the first morning. She said that her information said that we had checked out. The price was on the cheap side and that was my motive to staying here on my trip. Now I don't know if the smoking person in front of my window at 4 and 7 was there on the third morning like the last two mornings because we left at 3:30 in the morning. We just couldn't take it anymore and left early for our trip back home. This motel needs more updates and repairs. Sorry for the poor review, Tom, but the update and remodels haven't been here yet.

One of the worst Motel 6s I've ever stsyed at. If I wanted fresh towels, had to go ask for them. Same for cups. If I wanted the garbage cans emptied, I had to do it myself. When I complained, they sent the housekeeper to my room (AFTER I had taken out the trash). He asked what I needed. I told him there were dirty towels that needed to be taken and replaced, and he told me he would if I picked them up and put them outside the door. Yeah.

This was a horrible hotel. The front desk lady was nice, but lacked customer service skills. We had to wait 15 minutes for our room at 11pm. The room had to be taken out of maintenance for us to have a room. I asked if there was an issue with the room, she said no that there was a person who stayed there a long time and the room was shampooed. Not true, it was filthy, no liners in the very dirty garbage cans. Both beds were not made, just thrown together, and there was hair in BOTH beds. No towels only wash cloths, the bathroom floor was horrendously dirty, the shower had hair in it and blood on both side of the curtain. I took pictures of the nastiness

The place is a little worse for the wear but the front desk help is almost exceptional. And I can always take my dog

I'd say it was because I had dogs, but they were never in the room alone, and all of us were gone most of the day. AND I put garbage outside the door to be picked up on our first day there. I watched them maneuver the cart around it, but they never picked it up. So I moved it to a main garbage can (too big to put in). IT WAS STILL THERE WHEN WE LEFT FIVE DAYS LATER!!!!

This room was disgusting. Yes, I know you take what you get with a smoking room, but there is no excuse for a room with a grimy bathroom floor, what appeared to be actual boogers rubbed on the walls, and an overall unclean feeling place. On addition, there was fecal matter on the ground not far from our door, which appeared to be human in origin. The toilet in our room worked, but whined and made loud noises into the night. This was the only room available in all of town that night, and we honestly would have been better off sleeping in our car in a gas station parking lot. At least we would have been somewhere safer and cleaner. I've had some awful motel experiences in the past, but this takes the cake.
